This is a more budget version of open box store. As your funnel down the aisles, you're presented with lots of different off brand items. Haven't shopped there for many years, you sort of have to decide what brands you're more fond of. We will always find the chocolate there to be better than par. Milk eggs butter cream are always lower price than other purveyors and big box stores. Since there is no big Refrigeration for the vegetables and fruits, you lose take your chances that you need to use them rather quickly when she got them home. Wheel of the incredibly cheap cook at home pizzas and regular white bread end table Rye or pretty much under a dollar a loaf. This is a good place to shop for a party and to buy groceries that are manufactured in other countries that give you different Cuisine than you might be used to. They're special items rotate very frequently and their floor safe stocking shelves work like mad. The checkout lines are usually pretty long. But everybody is accommodating and if you have only a few things someone usually let you go first. Bring your own bags or you're going to pay for them. overall we save about 50% off some of the local Big Brand grocery stores
I like the concept of the store, they decrease prices by eliminating fancy marketing. The quality of the products are good, nothing amazing, but it's an excellent option if you're looking to save money on food.
It is a good resource in the never ending battle to save money. Some of my favorite things refried beans, liverwurst, salami, peanuts, vegetables, tuna, peanut oil, cream cheese and sour cream.
Well run clean store. Staff is very helpful and Aldis prices are about as good as it gets. Their house brands are generally very high quality.
