The whole BK process went really fast with him. With 1 year to go to get discharged i hit a deer. Truck was totaled that day. My insurance Gieco was informed not to send the check until i knew where it needed to go. Federal law on BKs says it goes to the trustee. I called Olivers office to see what to do. The check got sent to the wrong place and i was told they couldnt cash it or give it to me. I informed his office of it and they confirmed where it was. But the lawyer for that office filed in court for the check. Found out way late Olivers paralegal was the one to redirect the check but was told not too. I bused to his office every other friday for weeks. He got pissed off. After awhile he said to give him $2000 more to put me in Chapter 7 after 4 years of Chapter 13. I refused. I had to go to federal court in Trenton 2 times. While in court i heard the trustee call someone to ask who gets the check cause they didnt know. He did fyi but guess he didnt know that. Oliver showed up later. He told the lawyer that filed for the check "my client( me) is getting crazy and i think we should kick him out of this system. I wasnt wearing glasses so he didnt know i was there. Then while the trustee was in court for this his office was sendng me kick you out letters when this all should have been cutt and dry. Trustee takes check. Bk gets paid in full cause check was more than BK. I get discharged in 2 months. No. This stayed in court for 14 months. I had no car and no way to get one while a has a BK and a court matter. And i lived 33 miles from work so i lost my apartment. The check expired and had to be reissued. I was supposed to get $1600 back from that check after the BK was paid. At the end i got $19. This was supposed to be the best thing to help my finances. But since i lost about $25,000 It became the worst. Sorry this is long and i should have done it 7 years ago. Hiring him was the biggest mistake i ever made.
