I was very pleased and would request them in the future.
But my impression of the company changed on the day of the move. It heightened. And here are but a few examples of how they earned the praise I am giving:
Great job on a 19,000sf commercial move to 4 separate locations. Everything got where it was supposed to go. A few minor item were broken, but Lowy's trued up without hassle. Their storage rates are reasonable too.

So that is my long overdue review. They ARE as good as they seem and when I called thank them, they were not surprised by my experience. It truly was a typical day of work for them.
6.) A lot of furniture moved into a small apartment that day. Martha Stewart had nothing on these men. I had no idea had how to make it fit let alone look like a home. They said trust us and once again I did. They moved furniture, came up with ideas, asked me, listened to my ideas, and we worked together until we were both happy. Their creativity of using my space made living where I am, a home.
1.) The move went smoothly and the team worked like a well-oiled machine
Extremely careful, thoughtful, and hard working. They worked very well together.
They did a decent job. Office and on-site manager seemed well coordinated to plan the the move during planning/estimating stage. The actual move Day went ok too. Showed up exactly on time. Actual move out went well. Move in not as good. But manager compensated me for 2 minor pieces of damage. I don't ever expect a large move to go 100 percent perfectly. So with that in mind, all went well.
3.) They treated moving piano's, heavy formal dining room tables up flights of stairs as business as usual - not a reason to price gouge.
LOWYS is the best moving company in New Jersey. When i bought my first house 4 years ago. They moved me from my house to a temporary location and placed all of my things in a warehouse for storage. Than helped me moved my things from storage to the house. They were all very professional, and one hundred percent reasonable. I never ever leave feedback like this, but this company definitely needs to hear about my amazing experience. They truly have my business for as long as i need a mover in New Jersey. 5.) My dining room table had been taken apart by previous movers and was not able to be secured when they put it on the base - once again, the lead mover offered to fix it and he did.
**The men took a coffee break on the way to my apartment and I got worried so I called the office and they said give them five minutes. That's all it was and you don't need to worry.
My “team” were wonderful.
7.) And for the last item, I wasn't careful with jewelry I had forgotten was in a drawer. It fell out, they put it on furniture and that was business as usual for them.
4.) Antique furniture that had a metal trim inset to the wood had come out and bent years ago. I had just accepted it, but the lead man in the team asked if I wanted him to fix it. He stopped working, took out his tool box and gently, tapped in the metal with small screws securing it.
If I could write more stars, I would. This review is long overdue. Last year I researched all the moving companies. I spoke and met with everyone. I am that person, so trust me when I say, I was confident about the choice I made when I booked that I selected the best company due to courtesy, price, and responsiveness to phone queries.
2.) Any changes I made last minute incurred no additional cost - they smiled and reassured me it was okay
*I believe there was a price for the piano - everyone charges extra so this is not an issue
